On November 6, the “Beautiful Bees” community participated in a networking event in Galicia aimed at exploring new opportunities to enhance their impact, expand their network of contacts, and strengthen their entrepreneurial skills. The gathering brought together young rural women entrepreneurs supported by the Social Innovation Initiative funded by the European Commission.

Held at the Mercado de la Tía Ni, the event began with a themed lunch that encouraged participants to share experiences and build meaningful connections. This was followed by presentations on international exchange and learning opportunities, including Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs and the Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) Program, as well as the Business Support Program for Women Entrepreneurs offered by the Chamber of Commerce of Santiago.

Throughout the day, participants discussed the progress of their projects, exchanged insights on early-stage entrepreneurship, and explored new collaboration opportunities. Key themes included green innovation, digital upskilling, and engagement in international programs. Participants also had the opportunity to exchange experiences with stakeholders from the Netherlands, Greece, and Portugal who are supporting similar initiatives in their own countries. A mentoring session on how to pitch was implemented by a communications expert.

By the end of the event, the community of young rural women entrepreneurs in Galicia had been significantly strengthened, creating a supportive space for knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and renewed motivation to drive sustainable innovation across the rural environment.
