Between October and December, the participants of Beautiful Bees have gone through the Inspiration Phase together, the first stage of the program, designed to pause, reflect, and begin shaping their ideas for the future in rural environments.
During these weeks, the Bees have worked on self-awareness, personal purpose, leadership, communication, and the initial design of their projects, combining training sessions, shared reflection spaces, Bee to Bee coffee meet-ups with women from other towns, and visits to businesses led by rural women who are now role models in their territories. Halfway through this phase, they also enjoyed a week of coliving, a key in-person experience to deepen learning, strengthen group bonds, and connect directly with the territory and its ecosystem.
The impact of this phase is reflected in something very tangible: greater clarity, greater confidence, and stronger connection. Participants have moved from vague ideas or initial blocks to identifying what they want to build, what they need to make it possible, and which steps they can start taking. A supportive community has also been woven among young women who share concerns, territory, and the desire to create opportunities from rural areas.
But this is not the end. The Give Back Phase now begins, a new stage of the program in which the Bees will finalize their projects, implement concrete actions to respond to real challenges in the rural community where the training took place, and celebrate an open community day to share all the work done, the learnings, and the projects that are beginning to take flight.
