The Beautiful Bees programme continues to leave a lasting impact on its participants across Spain, going far beyond entrepreneurship training. According to recent feedback, the initiative has not only strengthened professional skills but has also fostered a powerful sense of community, personal growth, and collaboration among women in rural areas.
One of the most recurring themes among participants is the creation of meaningful connections. Many describe the programme as a space where they felt supported and understood. “The most valuable thing has been the community we’ve built,” one participant shared, while another highlighted “a sense of belonging and a desire to keep creating and growing in the town.”
This sense of connection is not only emotional but also practical. Several participants pointed to the emergence of strong support networks: “I’ve found an incredible network of friends,” one Bee explained, adding that these relationships have strengthened both her confidence and motivation. Others emphasised the importance of shared values, describing the experience as “meeting women who want to do more with their lives” and who offer “emotional support, advice and active listening.”
Beyond community, personal transformation stands out as another key outcome. Many participants reported increased self-confidence, clarity and motivation. “I went from feeling paralysed by insecurity and fear to becoming someone who can see possibilities,” one participant reflected. Another highlighted how the programme helped her “put my life’s purpose into words” and improve essential skills such as “teamwork, creativity and active listening.”
For many, this growth has translated into a renewed perspective on rural life. Participants increasingly view their local environments as spaces full of opportunity. “I now see the rural community as a place for learning and growth,” one Bee explained, reflecting a broader shift in mindset encouraged by the programme.
In terms of entrepreneurship, the programme has also opened the door to new collaborations and projects. While not all participants have formalised partnerships yet, many report ongoing discussions and concrete plans. These include joint projects, service exchanges, and shared initiatives in areas such as environmental education, creative industries and social innovation. “We’re already collaborating and planning new ideas together,” one participant noted, while another added that she sees “real possibilities for future projects with other Bees.”
The co-living experience has played a particularly important role in strengthening these connections. Spending time together in immersive rural settings allowed participants to build trust and exchange ideas more freely. “The co-living was a unique and transformative experience,” one participant said, while another described it as “a week full of inspiration, conversations and shared learning.”
Ultimately, the feedback highlights that Beautiful Bees is much more than a training programme. It is a space where personal and professional journeys intersect, enabling women to gain confidence, develop their ideas and build lasting relationships. As one participant summarised, “It has given me support, opportunities and a community of incredible women who inspire me to keep going.”
Together, these voices reflect the programme’s broader impact: empowering women not only to create projects, but also to create connections, confidence and a shared vision for the future of rural communities.
